Gaia Reborn
Gaia Reborn, the hottest MMORPG of the last decade, has seen millions of players experience its unique world - a combination of fantasy and reality. When Gaia Reborn was a game, one goal was to make the game world a one-half scale model of the real world. This pursuit was known as the Half-Gaia Project, and it is one of the aspects which led to Gaia Reborn becoming such a popular virtual world. With regional servers having unique areas, quests, cities, and monsters, it wasn't uncommon for people to create alternate characters on other servers to experience what felt like an entirely new game.
Ten years after the game's launch, millions of players have joined and created countless characters across the many servers. Now, with the release of the latest expansion, Pioneers of Arcadia, many are getting ready to begin new adventures in the new Italian server, exploring the new region corresponding to Italy, known in Gaia as Italia. Characters would have to start from fresh in this new world, but Italy would finally get its own piece of this world.
Countless players created their characters, logged in with excitement fueling their hands as the cursor swept across the screen, and then... darkness... Everything was black, and as their eyes opened, the players found themselves in the streets of an unfamiliar city. Looking around to survey their surroundings, many players realized this city was not so new after all. While desolate and ruined, the architecture conquered by vines and greenery, this city was unmistakably Rome, but at the same time, it was not. Finding themselves in the bodies of their characters, trapped in the world of Gaia Reborn, players are left to adapt to their new reality in this fantasy world.
Mikey dashed through the marshes of a narrow canal expecting his allies to follow him. His short sword had become dented and dirtied with the remains of the swamp's inhabitants from the day's fighting. His clothes had become stained and damp from the time spent in the wetland. His face had become covered with mud and dirt, also carrying some scars with it as well.
His expression however showed no sign of fatigue however as he charged through the canal and into a large hall. Adelbert and Emeralda followed him closely, worn down, but still ready for battle.
The hall that they entered appeared to be covered with overgrown fauna, with gashes of water leaking from its stone walls. The ground that they stood on also happened to be submerged in light flooding from neglect of an age long gone by.
The key object of notice for Mikey was the entity that sat in the middle of the hall atop a pile of ancient stones. This entity had the appearance of a melancholic young woman with long shining hair, but with translucent skin and a blue veil covering her body like an elegant dress. Her sleeping expression making it seem like she didn't exist in the same plane as him or anyone else. Her most striking feature was a pendant around her neck, attached to a shining blue gem that rested on her chest.
Mikey aligned his field of vision for his status screen to show him a label above the woman's head. It read the word "Eidolon."
He gripped his short sword in a flash and exclaimed "We found the gem." As his allies took a notice of this mysterious figure.
He then blitzed through the hall and toward the Eidolon with his sword flying against the wind.
His allies were left to fight the other enemies and support the party. Those other enemies being many Ghost like Undine, three Abaia, and a Cetus.
Adelbert charged towards the enemies to began his offensive against the Undine, wondering about the nature of their main enemy. Do we really have to fight such a beauty?...
Emeralda didn't give much thought about her adversaries, and lifted her staff to mentally cast the initial spells in her rotation . Accelerate. Go. Cast Divine Intervention of Adelbert...
The eponymous Eidolon opened her eyes to silently stare at her opponents. "..."
SidO entered the hall alongside Mikey and his cohorts. Like them, he too was worn down from an extended period of fighting, but did his best to keep up his strength. He stood behind Mikey, Adelbert, and Emeralda.
He looked at the unmoving lady across the distance, and felt a sense of surprise and uneasiness. That's the Eidolon?... She looks so harmless.. Is Mikey really going to destroy her?
He became enraptured in her form and couldn't take his eyes off her as his stance began to waver, nearly failing to notice Mikey's dash towards the enemy and the start of hostilities.
He snapped himself out of his trance at the sound of rapid splashes of water made by Mikey and Adelbert.
SidO opened the grimoire in his left hand, cleared his mind trying to forget any hesitation he might've felt, and began his rotation of spell casting.
I can't worry about stopping now. I'll deal with what happens after we're done. Accelerate. Go. Constellation's Boon, Target: Mikey. Go.
He then prepared to cast another spell. Fate's Machination's. Target: The Rare Eidolon.
He fired the spell at the luminescent specter after a few seconds pasesd. Go.
He looked at the Eidolon to unleash a crippling aliment on her. Betray Ally.
Mikey stomped on the ground water as he pushed his body to intercept the incoming blast of icicle shards that the Eidolon sent towards him.
The thought Shuffle Tracking went through his mind...
In the next moment, Mikey's right hand moved in a flash. The sword held by this hand, proceeded to smash two shards, that were heading directly for his person, in half.
He leaped towards the Eidolon from his position. During his landing, Mikey saw the effects of SidO's spell take effect and paralyze her. Her blank expression morphed into a scowl of anguish.
He slashed at the Eidolon, as he came near inches to her. She was sent reeling back in a scream, as Mikey took note of the Chip Stack assigned to her on his status screen.
It should take 4 more hits to break the stack. He mused mentally.
He then proceeded to relentlessly slash away at the more helpless enemy, drowning out her screams as particles of light flew away from her body as a result. At the end of his fourth consecutive slash, the helpless Eidolon went from being juggled with slashes to being sent flying back. Mikey went in for one more attack having noticed her Chip Stack on his status screen being reduced to zero. He kicked the Eidolon with his right leg to send her upward. He then forced his next slash through the Eidolon, dealing lethal damage, while his victim let out a loud cry before falling down in the water.
The Eidolon wasn't able to rest as the effect of SidO's Betray Ally aliment took hold off her. She watched in shock as her hands lifted themselves against her will, forcing her up straight, to charge an icicle blast. She gasped when she saw herself aiming an attack at the Ghostly Undine that were engaging with Adelbert. Adelbert, having blocked attacks from the Ghostly Cetus and Abaias with the help of Emeralda's Divine Intervention, went in to continue his attack on the Undine but stopped when he noticed the Eidolon. She tried to cancel the attack but couldn't. She then watched herself send out an array of flying icicle shards that pierced and eviscerated those Undine, as Adelbert maneuvered away from its blast radius.
Mikey watched as his damaged adversary gritted her teeth and brought herself up. She floated in the air, giving him a murderous gaze as she flew away.
He pursued the enemy, not willing to stop his assault.
SidO watched the battle unfold for quite some time. The sounds of blasts of energy, swords, spell circles, and wounds being torn open went through his ears as he started to lose track of time, becoming more invested in the battle the longer it went on. He watched as the health bars of his party members rapidly declined and increased from the outcomes of many clashes with their enemy. He saw Mikey slash away at the Eidolon as she evaded his attacks with brisk speed and stole his life with her touch; Adelbert dodge the beams of the Ghostly Abaias and dance against the assault of the Cetus, after he destroyed all remaining Undine in the hall of an arena; and Emeralda rushing to heal both of them and to aid their defense. He himself spent the duration of the battle strengthening his allies and weakening his enemies while firing the occasional spellbolt to aid Adelbert after discovering that they were not affected by non-elemental damage due to their Ghostly nature. He found it more and more difficult to keep up his spellcasting as his mana gradually continued to deplete.
Eventually, he heard a call from Mikey through their shared telepathic link. It went, Adelbert's getting low on HP. The Cetus and Abaia are closing in on him. I need you bring him away from them so Emeralda can heal him.
SidO looked at the heavily injured Adelbert trying to dodge the attacks of the fast moving Cetus and the lightning and waves of the Abaia. He saw his body struggling to evade their attacks as the gaps in distance and time became shorter and shorter for Adelbert. He dashed towards Adelbert and his engagement while trying to think of a plan to secure his recovery.
What Can I do?... Those Cetus and Abaia are going to destroy him at this rate..
He went through his spell list on his status screen until he came across the skill Raging Wildfire. He evaluated its value. Okay. Fire damage at a wide range. It can hit many enemies as well. Perfect.
SidO got close to Adelbert and called him "Adelbert get behind me!" As he raised his arms to the front and chanted mentally. Raging Wildfire... Go.
Adelbert went through the wind as the raging Cetus chased him and flew through the air at a ludicrous speed, tearing it apart and sending a wave of heat generated from its sheer force. He used his remaining energy from his fight, and narrowed the distance between himself and SidO in a matter of his seconds. He landed beside him just as the nearby ground released a burst of flames that forced their way through in a pillar of flames, blasting the fast approaching Cetus and Abaias that were closing in on their position. The fire clashed against the water flooding the ground, causing it to quickly evaporate in bursts of steam, as the Cetus and Abaias roared in pain, burning from its embers.
Adelbert gazed at the sheer spectacle of those rampaging phantoms of the seas being halted by molten fire. He thought about his bout with the Cetus. That dragon came way to close to tearing my limbs of. Before Emeralda called for his attention. She urgently asked him and SidO to reach her position. He complied and followed, asking his compatriot to do the same. "Let's get back while the beasts are stunned SidO." He went towards Emeralda.
The Ghostly Cetus and Abaias struggled to move as they felt the burns from the Blaze of Raging Wildfire. One Abaia succumbed to its power, along with the damage done by Adelbert's strikes and died, fading away from its spirited existence, leaving the other two to fight in its stead.
Back in her position, Emeralda placed her hands on Adelbert's scarred shoulders. She chanted mentally. Healing Hands. Aid Adelbert...
Adelbert felt a comforting blue light pass through his body. The light filled up many of his wounds and erased his bruises and scars of battle. It faded away as Emeralda finished casting the spell and removed her hands from his body.
He turned to Emeralda and uttered. "Thank you."
She returned his gesture with a soft smile.
Adelbert turned to face the Cetus and remaining Abaias that had begun moving after the effects of the burning spell wared off. He then charged towards them to continue their battle...
On the other end of the battle, Mikey continue to shower the Eidolon of wonder in a barrage of attacks from his autonomous dagger that had taken a will of its own through the power of the now activated Ante Up. She flew threw the air, using most of her energy in trying to avoid the fierce and heavy sweeps and slashes from the dagger, losing her focus for attacking.
Meanwhile, he stood in the flowing water of the long eroded ground, and watched his dagger trying to make head way into his defending adversary. He drew his right hand and its sword back, spread his legs, and went into a forward stance. He concentrated on his forthcoming attack to make use of his amplified Attack stat given to him by SidO's Constellation's Boon.
Mikey looked at his target one time before charging and sending ripples through the water below him. He used his energy to accelerate his dash before leaping into the air. In a swift moment, he drew his sword back and thrusted it forward with all his might. The sword crashed against the air and forced its away into the desperate Eidolon's stomach, tearing through it, and going out of the other end of her torso. She in turn, screamed from the pain of the attack, as shards of light flew out from where Mikey's sword had pierced her. A shining tear went down the Eidolon's face as she watched Mikey remove his sword from her body and descend backward to the ground.
She held onto her wounded stomach with her hand and looked at Mikey with eyes of hurt and rage. She screamed out what sounded like broken words to him to convey her anguish.
SidO stared forward along the direction of his arms as he watched the Cetus and Abais that were going to be inches away from him and Adelbert, be torn asunder by the flames he conjured.
As the flames continued to regail their enemy, he heard the call of the injured Adelbert who had come to stand beside him moments earlier. "Okay. Let's Go."
He followed his suggestion and followed him to run to Emeralda while the Cetus and Abais burned, stuck in their advance...
After reaching Emeralda, SidO watched her heal Adelbert.
He then turned his attention to Mikey as Adelbert charged back into his fight with his previous foes. He watched him parry the attacks of the Eidolon and attack with some of his own. He thought about his condition, as he watched their struggle to absolutely dominate and overwhelm each other. I got so caught up with helping that Adelbert, that I left him alone without any buffs.
SidO then began to cast a spell to mitigate the problem in his mind. He chanted mentally. Constellation's Boon. Buff: Vigor. Target: Mikey. Go.
He watched a white barrier appear in front of Mikey and fade in the distance to raise his combat stats. He then got back into his idle position to provide support to Adelbert...
Surprise overtook SidO after he saw what happened following Mikey's sword impaling the Eidolon and her ensuing screaming. He tried to make sense of what he heard as a form of lightly intelligible speech. Were those words coming from the Eidolon?... She can speak?...
The Eidolon's next actions added to his surprise. She touched her gem?... She needs help to fight?.. What's she going to do?
After that he observed the tussle between Mikey and the her, waiting to take action.
Until he heard a tremor in the earth beneath him...
Mikey was in the process of increasing the speed and force of his attacks, not willing to let the fight with the Eidolon go on much longer.
The walls of the hall some distance away from them began to crack.
The Eidolon countered Mikey's attacks with icicle blasts of her own, and flew toward him to use the power of Moribund Fate.
The cracks in the walls became bigger as they began breaking more rapidly.
Mikey jumped back when the Eidolon came close to him, and threw his dagger toward her in retaliation.
The ground below the hall began to shake violently, with its rumbling becoming quicker and quicker.
The Eidolon spun herself to narrowly avoid the strike of Mikey's sword hand after he focused his energies to it to take advantage of his Dealer's Stance.
The very foundation of the humongous hall began to fall apart...
Mikey finished slowing his dash as he turned around to go for another attack against the Eidolon...
The moment following this would seem like a brief respite to an outside observer with its tame clashes and hostility from the earth shattering paradigm shift that came after...
The walls near Mikey and the Eidolon were completely destroyed from an unworldly force, breaking into pieces in a matter of seconds. Those pieces shattered into debris and were sent hurling across the hall in a seismic shockwave that spread through its entire vicinity and beyond. A massive storm of dust manifested itself in the place of the imploded wall and through it came a being that the forces of nature struggled to contain.
The storm split in two as it, the source of such chaos, overcame all inertia and the pull of the earth, blazing forward in a gargantuan flash. It was a creature that was not slowed down by its weight, despite its towering size, coursing through the air like a feather at blinding speed. Its momentum sent a bursting wave of wind across its current direction.
For the first time since the beginning of battle, Mikey's stoic expression was broken when he saw what was coming for him. He and the Eidolon were blasted into the air in the blink of an eye by the wave's tremendous power. His eyes and body were static in their form as they flew in the air from the shock they were being put under. The Eidolon pushed herself to the limit and levitated away from the winds despite still struggling to resist their halting power.
The heralder of storms stopped its advance and lifted its titan like head. It howled with its inner organs to unleash a pulse that felt like a sound of death to all those who were unfortunate enough to feel it. The one to feel its terror the most was Mikey, the one who had been caught in its epicenter. He felt his mind break, his nerves splinter from his body, his senses failing, and his eyes lose colour as his entire being could barley hold itself together in the face of this hell. All these feelings could not be described as pain because they had surpassed it and were much greater than it could ever be. His body continued to fail as his mind simply stopped, as if his soul had been torn from his body...
Mikey fell and started descending. During this, the two Abaias that were fighting Adelbert turned their focus to him. They charged a great consolidation of their explosive light of destruction and fired it towards him. Mikey was completely engulfed by these devastating beams as his being was boiled and eviscerated by heat.
His almost entirely lifeless and charred body then went to land on the ground...
SidO watched what remained of Mikey's body fly through the air. He stood still, not being able to move because of the terror that coursed through him. He watched with widened eyes and mouth agape, unable to comprehend what was going on around him. The remaining force of a sonar wave that had coursed through the hall and almost driven him insane still ringing in his ears. He stayed like this for what felt like an eternity. Feeling as if didn't even exist in the current reality and had just been sent to another.
He mustered the strength to move his head towards the enormous horror that had destroyed the hall, shattered his and his compatriot's sense of being, and been the cause of Mikey's bane; reading its name as "Charon" on his status screen.
He watched the enormous destroyer from the oceans as it hovered through the hall with its bone chilling roars. He continued to stay like this and he did not take any action.
"SidO!" A scream vaguely echoed in his ears.
"SIDO!!" It became louder.
"SIDOOO!!!" The voice finally went through his ears.
He turned from his almost complete breakdown to see Emeralda, desperately calling out to him. He saw her delirious expression and heavy panting with pores of sweat dripping from her face, in her attempts to get through to him. He didn't have any window to respond as he heard her next instructions.
SidO looked at the remaining enemies, the still standing Eidolon, and the Charon, quickly thinking to himself. He also say Mikey's body laying on the ground releasing steam as it made contact with the water in the distance. She wants me and Adelbert go on in there and get Mikey's body and then retreat?...
He tried to drown out the fear he felt at that moment. Okay..
"Let's go!"
He charged and followed Adelbert into the presence of the enemy armada.
Emeralda loudly yelled her plan to Adelbert and SidO in a bid to salvage their destroyed quest. She exhausted her voice to get the words out of her mouth as quickly as possible.
"I will send by Lance towards the enemy. You two will then go into the enemies vicinity and grab Mikey. We will then make our escape."
Adelbert watched her jittery and unrefined movements. He too was shaken from the earlier events and the shock of seeing Mikey's overwhelming defeat. He grabbed his swords and pushed his might in his attacks against the remaining Abais, ignoring the accompanying Cetus, while cursing himself. This wouldn't have happened if I didn't lose focus when that whale barged in..
He turned around and charged towards Emeralda's location. He pushed his feet against the water to stop himself when he stood in front of them. He saw SidO getting ready in his stance.
He then turned to Emeralda, waiting for her move.
Emeralda charged the summoning of a lance in her hands, preparing to cast her spell.
"Holy Lance... " She grabbed the lance that spawned in front of her and pulled it back with her right hand.
"Now!" The lance in her hand was thrown and sent flying toward the Eidolon.
Adelbert charged towards the enemies, looking back once to check if SidO was tailing him.
Emeralda's blazed through the air and into the chest of the shocked Eidolon. She reeled back as its impact released a blast that damaged her and the close Charon, sending it off its course.
Adelbert sent flying slashes towards the Abais and Cetus that were chasing him and SidO.
He stopped in front of Mikey's body, forcing himself to not look away out of revulsion...
SidO watched Emeralda's lance blast through the Eidolon when she tried to fly towards Mikey. He also watched the previously untouchable Charon lose its balance and fall. It can be damaged? He thought as he continued to push his steps to keep up with Adelbert.
He turned around to see the Abaias that were closing in on them with white fire in their mouths. ... Bastards..
He fired a couple of spellbolts at them, before stopping and casting a spell to make use of his remaining mana.
"Raging Wildfire!" He yelled, not being compose himself to cast mentally as he usually did. A pillar of flames burst from the ground and blasted through the direction behind him to demolish the Abaias alongside their Cetus ally. They were shocked and roared in their place as they were burned by the subsiding flames and their Blaze...
SidO continued to follow Adelbert until they reached Mikey's body soon after. He resisted the urge to lose control of his senses as he saw his friend in a sorry state. Mikey...
He walked toward his body and lifted his body on his back. He turned to Adelbert. "I'll carry Mikey and you can focus on the defense."
He then turned towards Emeralda's direction and began his charge towards her with Mikey on his back, not waiting for a response from him.
SidO felt Adelbert following him quietly, and saw him turning to slash at the Eidolon and Charon as they were pummeled by another volley of Emeralda's lance...
He gazed at the vengeful Eidolon as he pushed himself to make his final steps towards the entrance of the hall and its abyss. He, along with Emeralda and Adelbert, ran through the narrow canal that they once came. He thought to himself with uncertainty plaguing his mind. What's going to happen now... Mikey?
Welcome to the help dialog for the Custom Mini-Profile Creator plugin!
Click on any of the tabs above to go through the plugin configuration process!
You can access this menu at any time by clicking on the icon in the bottom right bar (may not be applicable if you're on Forums.net), or you can disable the welcome window and/or the icon by going to Plugins > Manage > Custom Mini-Profile Creator and changing the Show Help option.
This step is essential as it gives the plugin everything it needs on the page to get as much profile information as possible.
To make the profile variables work you'll need to add a new line to the very end of Themes > Layout Templates > Mini-Profile and paste the code below on it. The code should be placed completely outside of the mini-profile, so if you're using the default mini-profile template this will be after the very last closing </div> tag. This needs to be done on every theme you have the plugin enabled on as the template is theme-specific.
If your mini-profile template is already customized and you've hit the variable limit for your template you're free to remove any lines from the code below if they contain information that you don't plan on using. For example, if you have no plans to ever add a user's IP to their mini-profile for staff reference you can remove <div class="mp-info ip">$[user.ip]</div> from the code and everything else will still work just fine.
Once you've added the HTML from the Layout Templates tab you're ready to move on to building your mini-profiles. If you want to get going and try some out now or you're not very adept at HTML, CSS, or Javascript, worry not! This plugin includes some examples for you to try out. You're free to skip to the Custom Profile Fields tab and read over this tab later when you're ready to build your own.
Here's a quick rundown of each of the components in Plugins > Manage > Custom Mini-Profile Creator:
Name This is the name you'll be adding to your custom profile field dropdown once you've finished coding the mini-profile. Pretty self-explanatory. Make sure this name is unique from every other name you use for your mini-profiles or you'll end up overwriting the earlier ones in the list.
HTML This is the HTML that will go inside your mini-profile. You can use just about any HTML tag here so long as it's appropriate for where the mini-profile is showing on the page. Please refrain from using <style> or <script> tags here. You have the next two sections for that! Also, remember that mini-profiles can show multiple times on the same page, so you shouldn't add ID attributes to any of your elements here. Two elements on the same page cannot have the same ID per HTML standards.
CSS This is where you'll place what would normally go in your forum's style sheet or what would normally be between <style> tags. Try to code your mini-profile's HTML in a way that will allow you to target it specifically with your selectors. For example, you can surround all of the content in your HTML with a <div> element with a class and target that class and its child elements specifically with your CSS. That way you don't accidentally target every mini-profile on the page with CSS that was meant for the one you're building. One more thing: The forum theme's CSS still applies beforehand, so your mini-profile may look right in one theme but not in another. The best way to circumvent this is to define as many styles as you can to override the theme's CSS.
Javascript Anything that normally goes between <script> tags will go here. This one's a bit tricky since you'll obviously want to target the custom mini-profile specifically. Luckily there's an easy way to do that. In your statements you can use the $(this) variable to target the mini-profile if you're coding using jQuery. Otherwise, if you only plan on using standard Javascript you can target $(this)[0] instead.
Once you've finished building your mini-profiles it's finally time to add them to the Edit Profile page for use! To enable selection of custom mini-profiles you'll first need to add two specific custom profile fields in Members > Custom Profile Fields in your forum's admin area:
Mini-Profile Theme
Staff Mini-Profile Theme
Mini-Profile Theme is for mini-profiles that are designed for member use. You can set the Who Can Edit option for this field to Staff With Power if you only want staff to be able to choose mini-profiles for users. Otherwise, if you want members to freely be able to choose their own mini-profiles you can choose Members and Staff With Power.
Staff Mini-Profile Theme is for mini-profiles designed specifically for staff use. This field is completely optional.
Set the type for both of these fields as Drop Down Selection. Click on the (View/Edit) link to add mini-profile names to each of these fields.
If you've just installed this plugin you should have three different mini-profiles already installed by default: Example 1, Example 2, and Example 3. You can add these to your dropdowns to test them out and see the plugin in action.
If you're having trouble getting this plugin to work despite following the instructions in the previous tabs you may want to check that each of your themes meets the prerequisites below in Themes > Layout Templates > Mini-Profile.
First, ensure that opening tag of your mini-profile template includes the $[miniprofile_class] variable in its class. On the default ProBoards theme it should look something like this:
<div class="$[miniprofile_class]">
Next, make sure that the default {foreach} loop for custom fields is present inside your mini-profile. It doesn't need to be visible, so you're free to add it inside a hidden element if you don't plan on displaying it or if it would mess up the appearance of your own custom template.
Beyond that you can do whatever you like to the mini-profile template for the most part and it shouldn't negatively impact the plugin.
The following is a list of available variables for use in the HTML section of the mini-profile creator and their definitions. Adding any of these to a mini-profile will generate the content described in its definition in place of the variable so long as the information that variable outputs is visible to you.
To reference your forum's custom profile fields you can use $[user.customfieldname], substituting "customfieldname" with your custom field's name. You'll need to type the name in all lowercase with no spaces and only use characters A-Z and 0-9.
For example, Mini-Profile Theme becomes $[user.miniprofiletheme]. This will output the value of the custom field. In the case of this example, it'll be the name of the mini-profile theme you've chosen in your profile.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These will only work if you followed the steps in the Installation tab of this window on each of your themes. Any themes that do not include the template code specified there will not have these variables replaced in the mini-profile.

You can utilize the $(this) variable in the Javascript component to target the mini-profile <div> element. For example, if you wanted to add a class to the mini-profile you can use:
$(this).addClass('class-name-here');
Profile variables can also be used in the Javascript component in this plugin. In Javascript the value undefined is used to signify that a value doesn't exist for the variable you've specified. With this in mind you can use profile variables in Javascript conditional statements within the plugin similar to how they're used in the actual layout templates section of the admin area.
if(variable) will only run if the variable you specify has a value.
if(!variable) will only run if the variable you specify has no value.
Example 1 (variable has value):
if(user.group){
$(this).find('.group').show();
}
If the user has their group displayed in their profile the above Javascript would make the HTML below visible if you had it hidden with CSS.
