Gaia Reborn
Gaia Reborn, the hottest MMORPG of the last decade, has seen millions of players experience its unique world - a combination of fantasy and reality. When Gaia Reborn was a game, one goal was to make the game world a one-half scale model of the real world. This pursuit was known as the Half-Gaia Project, and it is one of the aspects which led to Gaia Reborn becoming such a popular virtual world. With regional servers having unique areas, quests, cities, and monsters, it wasn't uncommon for people to create alternate characters on other servers to experience what felt like an entirely new game.
Ten years after the game's launch, millions of players have joined and created countless characters across the many servers. Now, with the release of the latest expansion, Pioneers of Arcadia, many are getting ready to begin new adventures in the new Italian server, exploring the new region corresponding to Italy, known in Gaia as Italia. Characters would have to start from fresh in this new world, but Italy would finally get its own piece of this world.
Countless players created their characters, logged in with excitement fueling their hands as the cursor swept across the screen, and then... darkness... Everything was black, and as their eyes opened, the players found themselves in the streets of an unfamiliar city. Looking around to survey their surroundings, many players realized this city was not so new after all. While desolate and ruined, the architecture conquered by vines and greenery, this city was unmistakably Rome, but at the same time, it was not. Finding themselves in the bodies of their characters, trapped in the world of Gaia Reborn, players are left to adapt to their new reality in this fantasy world.
- Player - Name: Celeste Gender: Male Age: 14 Sexuality: Heterosexual Face-Claim:Hiro Hamada, Big Hero 6 Played by: Lucilfer Faction: Gaian
- Appearance - Celeste is a young boy at fourteen and a half years old and reaching a height of 147cm. He has been forged through the means of savagery, having wrestled with beasts from the beginning of his life until now, leaving his body scarred. From head to toe, he shows no signs of malnourishment. His body holds a healthy bronze color, and energy protrudes from within his muscles. Whilst not buff, his body is well-toned, and almost no fat is found on it. He has brown hair, seemingly cut with a dagger to keep it out of his eyes. His eyes are bright blue, but in the winter, they turn a little darker than usual.
- Personality - Being raised by his three familiars, all of which are not familiar with the human language and incompetent in the arts of raising a human, Celeste never learned what it is to be “Human”. This, unfortunately, includes the ability to speak. He knows no words, and when he tries to speak, all he produces are sounds without interpretable meaning. However, he’s figured out how to summon his familiars, and his most known “words” are the sounds required to bring forth his familiar, often followed by pointing and snarls and growls.
He acts on instincts alone and gets through the day only to satisfy his primal strive for survival. Ever since Celeste was young, he and his familiars had been forced to hunt for their own food. Well, Celeste’s food. This has helped Celeste gain a vast amount of hunting experience. He loves the thrill of the hunt and is prone to drag a hunt out until the prey collapses of exhaustion. He usually tries to be the one to deliver the final blow to his prey. This puts him at great risk, however, the satisfaction overrules the risk.
He's a curious, yet cautious person, however, his curiosity often gets the better of him. Furthermore, his underdeveloped mind hasn’t learned to differentiate between good and bad, making him totally unaware of the consequences of his actions. However, he can identify a disadvantageous situation, and will try to flee if he finds it needed.
- History - Celeste is a young teen Gaian, who’s been living in the woods all of his life. He was abandoned by his mother, at a very young age, to live alone in the wild, faring between wildlife with no possible way of protecting himself. He was placed in a small basket, wrapped in a simple cloth, accompanied only by a thick grimoire. This grimoire held a vast magical power, able to create creatures out of thin air. These creatures included a large canine with spikes down its back and over its shoulders, a small golden- and blue feathered bird with a lot on its mind, and a demon-like humanoid that was able to take care of Celeste when he was not able to, himself. Through the years, Celeste learned how to hunt to be able to get food on the table. He became very knowledgeable of what mushrooms and plants were edible, when and where to search for easy prey, and how to make basic weapons. Through countless hunts, his summons became his greatest allies and best friends, and they gained a non-verbal understanding of each other. Usually, he only brought the bird and the canine to the hunts, going together with the humanoid whenever he was hunting for something special. And today was such a day.
The forest had been noisy all day. All the animals acted unusually, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary to Celeste. Nothing smelled different, nothing looked different, so why were all the animals acting so weirdly?
Celeste couldn’t help himself but look further into this.
- Extra - His favorite meals are any type of bird, grilled above a bonfire. No seasoning, no nothing, just bird. And it has to be caught whilst flying, otherwise, what's the fun?
- Statistics And Inventory - Race: Human Main-Class: Summoner Crafting Talent: Chef Roleplay Talent: Tracker Skill Points: 2 Ability Points: 8
Blink Blink instantly teleports the user up to 1 meter in any direction, leaving a dark blue afterimage. This can teleport the user past enemies or allies, but not through walls. Upon arriving at their destination, the user suffers a 0.5s global cooldown, so caution is advised when using this skill. Instant, 20s cooldown, 0.5s global cooldown. Below-average mana cost.
Heightened Senses An alarm-type field skill that has seen more use since the Apocalypse, as travel is more dangerous than it used to be. After the cast, the user is granted the Alarmed buff for 8 hours. If an enemy of the Territorial, Aggressive or Predatory Type comes within 10m of the user, the Alarmed buff wears off and the user receives a loud notification sound and flashes on the interface. Ever since the Apocalypse, this buff persists even through sleep and wakes the user up. The cooldown starts after Alarmed has worn off. 3s cast time, 1-hour cooldown. Low mana cost.
Trajectory Bending An instant skill that may be used anytime a basic attack is performed. The weapon or projectile will flash white and redirect itself to a direction of choice, continuing with full velocity. This skill works wonders against evasive foes but lacks a significant impact against slower ones. Its mana cost will add up if used a lot, so rely on your skill instead. Instant, 5s cooldown. Low mana cost.
Velocity Jumper Ranged skill. Upon use, the user fires a projectile encased in a faint green glow. The projectile travels for 1m before it vanishes, and instantly reappears at a user-specified distance up to 20m, after which it continues flying up to a total distance of 25m. It deals below-average damage and cannot teleport through walls or land, but is great for catching enemies off-guard or shooting past tanks. 1s animation time, 10s cooldown. Minor mana cost.
Rank II Skills
Illusory Shooting Ranged skill. The user whispers a silent spell that coats the user’s ranged weapon of choice in a faint white glow. For the next 10s, all projectiles shot or thrown are fully invisible and the weapon itself is silent, granting a strong Aggro Down and making it difficult to deflect or dodge shots. 1.5s cast time, 1 min cooldown. Average mana cost.
Rank III Skills
Summoner Skills Beginner Skills
Aether Arms The Summoner targets one of their currently summoned familiars, transforming them into a magical weapon for use by either the Summoner or their party members. If Aether Arms is used on a familiar currently under its effects, this will turn them back into a familiar. While the familiars are transformed, mana is drained at half the usual rate; however, Summoning Points remain in use. The Summoner can choose out of three different weapons, although they share the same attributes. Information regarding Aether Arms is located in the skill description of each summon. Multiple familiars can be under the effects of Aether Arms at the same time. 0.5s cast time, no cooldown. No mana cost.
Summoning The Summoner has the special ability to summon familiars. However, keeping the familiar summoned is a drain on the summoner’s mental fortitude at all times; therefore, until they get stronger, the summoner is restricted to 2 summon points that they can use. Once they unlock a rank 2 Summon spell, they have access to 3 summon points, and once any rank 3 spell has been purchased, they gain access to 4 summon points. If any familiar dies while summoned, it will go on a 30-minute cooldown to revive, and thus cannot be re-summoned until this time expired. If a familiar is de-summoned it does not go on cooldown, and will gradually heal while de-summoned. Passive.
Rank I Skills
Castling The Summoner swaps places with any of their currently summoned familiars. If the familiar the summoner intends to swap with is within 20 meters of the Summoner, the spell is instant. If the familiar the Summoner intends to swap with is beyond 20 meters, this spell will have a 4s cast time. Summoners using familiars capable of flight should be wary of using this spell, lest they plummet to certain death by swapping places with the familiar during flight. Instant, or 4s cast time, 1 min cooldown. High mana cost.
Summon: Alicanto Personality: Cheerful, friendly, talkative. Abilities:Mind Relay: The Alicanto can relay all it sees directly into the master’s mind, allowing them to see everything for themselves with the Alicanto’s superior senses. Attributes: Strength - 2. Endurance - 2. Agility - 10. Intelligence - 9. Description: The Alicanto is a two-toned, seagull-sized bird resembling a parrot; its upper side is brilliant and lustrous like its feathers are made of solid gold, and its underside is sky-blue to not be noticed by those looking at it from below. Aether Arms: Whip, Crossbow, Katana. These vividly-plumed weapons look like they could be used in rituals or festive displays, and seem to hum calmingly in their wielder’s hands. Summon: Spikehound Personality: Loyal, eager, ferocious. Abilities: Volley: Every minute, the Spikehound can increase their attack speed by an above-average amount for 10s, unleashing a rapid volley of boney spikes towards their master’s target. Barrage: The Spikehound fires a barrage of several spikes skywards, which land in a 1m diameter within 20 meters after 3s. This deals average damage upon impact, and the bones last for 20s to inflict a low Movement Down to enemies that thread on them. Chilling Howl: The Spikehound’s intense loyalty causes them to be incredibly protective of their master. When enemies close in on them, they will sound a loud, bone-chilling howl that Interrupts enemies within 5m and Silences them for 3s to protect their master. Attributes: Strength - 5. Endurance - 4. Agility - 7. Intelligence - 6. Description: Spikehounds are tall and large thickly furred canines with a loyal, friendly disposition. Their head hangs low between their shoulders and their paws have sharp claws. The most striking feature is the bony spikes that protrude from their spines and shoulders, aimed forwards. When shot through muscle contraction, these will fire up to 15 meters far and rapidly regrow in a matter of seconds, allowing it to be used as a weapon. Their fur patterning and color can be anything. Aether Arms: Shortbow, Crossbow, Hatchet. These simple tribal weapons fashioned with teeth, claws and bone give wielders a minor Critical Hit Up. 3s cast time. 2 Summon Points. Average mana drain.
Rank II Skills
Summon: Incubus/Succubus Personality: Variable. Abilities: Hover: Capable of limited flight, the Incubi and Succubi are unhindered by earth-based abilities or terrain. They have an intense reduction in fall damage taken. As Master, As Servant: The Incubus or Succubus is capable of using any non-R3 Adventurer skill Spells their Summoner has learned. Soul Bolt: A simple non-elemental skill with a low cast time, damage, and cooldown that flings a homing, pitch-black bolt towards enemies within 10m. Nox Sanguinis: Launch a crystallized lance towards an enemy. Upon hit, it will deal average non-elemental magical damage and lodge inside, draining the target’s life force inside, painting the spear red. The Incubus or Succubus will then redirect the lance towards their master, and convert this life force into health for them. This has a high cooldown Attributes: Strength - 5. Endurance - 5. Agility - 5. Intelligence - 10. Description: Uniquely, when first summoning an Incubus or Succubus, the Summoner may choose their gender, personality, appearance, and traits to tailor them to their liking - from feisty boys to classy gentlemen, or hyperactive girls to sadistic onee-sans. Typically, however, Incubi and Succubi have pale skin, chiseled or buxom bodies, and a pair of glide-capable demonic wings and heart-spaded leathery tails. Most prefer to dress in a mix of “business casual” and “gothic lolita”, and typically wield a staff or spell tomes. Some opt for a simple dagger for self-defense in addition to their staff or tome. Aether Arms: Staff, Daggers, Unique. While incubi or succubi may always transform into either a staff or pair of daggers, the third possible weapon depends on the familiar and their personality. These weapons are colored in black-and-white tones with translucent shimmering edges. They grant a minor Mana Regeneration Up when held, and deal split magical-physical damage when striking. 3s cast time. 3 Summon Points. Above-average mana drain.

Hi! This account is for administrative purposes only. If you want to RP with me, my main is Katarina.
Welcome to the help dialog for the Custom Mini-Profile Creator plugin!
Click on any of the tabs above to go through the plugin configuration process!
You can access this menu at any time by clicking on the icon in the bottom right bar (may not be applicable if you're on Forums.net), or you can disable the welcome window and/or the icon by going to Plugins > Manage > Custom Mini-Profile Creator and changing the Show Help option.
This step is essential as it gives the plugin everything it needs on the page to get as much profile information as possible.
To make the profile variables work you'll need to add a new line to the very end of Themes > Layout Templates > Mini-Profile and paste the code below on it. The code should be placed completely outside of the mini-profile, so if you're using the default mini-profile template this will be after the very last closing </div> tag. This needs to be done on every theme you have the plugin enabled on as the template is theme-specific.
If your mini-profile template is already customized and you've hit the variable limit for your template you're free to remove any lines from the code below if they contain information that you don't plan on using. For example, if you have no plans to ever add a user's IP to their mini-profile for staff reference you can remove <div class="mp-info ip">$[user.ip]</div> from the code and everything else will still work just fine.
Once you've added the HTML from the Layout Templates tab you're ready to move on to building your mini-profiles. If you want to get going and try some out now or you're not very adept at HTML, CSS, or Javascript, worry not! This plugin includes some examples for you to try out. You're free to skip to the Custom Profile Fields tab and read over this tab later when you're ready to build your own.
Here's a quick rundown of each of the components in Plugins > Manage > Custom Mini-Profile Creator:
Name This is the name you'll be adding to your custom profile field dropdown once you've finished coding the mini-profile. Pretty self-explanatory. Make sure this name is unique from every other name you use for your mini-profiles or you'll end up overwriting the earlier ones in the list.
HTML This is the HTML that will go inside your mini-profile. You can use just about any HTML tag here so long as it's appropriate for where the mini-profile is showing on the page. Please refrain from using <style> or <script> tags here. You have the next two sections for that! Also, remember that mini-profiles can show multiple times on the same page, so you shouldn't add ID attributes to any of your elements here. Two elements on the same page cannot have the same ID per HTML standards.
CSS This is where you'll place what would normally go in your forum's style sheet or what would normally be between <style> tags. Try to code your mini-profile's HTML in a way that will allow you to target it specifically with your selectors. For example, you can surround all of the content in your HTML with a <div> element with a class and target that class and its child elements specifically with your CSS. That way you don't accidentally target every mini-profile on the page with CSS that was meant for the one you're building. One more thing: The forum theme's CSS still applies beforehand, so your mini-profile may look right in one theme but not in another. The best way to circumvent this is to define as many styles as you can to override the theme's CSS.
Javascript Anything that normally goes between <script> tags will go here. This one's a bit tricky since you'll obviously want to target the custom mini-profile specifically. Luckily there's an easy way to do that. In your statements you can use the $(this) variable to target the mini-profile if you're coding using jQuery. Otherwise, if you only plan on using standard Javascript you can target $(this)[0] instead.
Once you've finished building your mini-profiles it's finally time to add them to the Edit Profile page for use! To enable selection of custom mini-profiles you'll first need to add two specific custom profile fields in Members > Custom Profile Fields in your forum's admin area:
Mini-Profile Theme
Staff Mini-Profile Theme
Mini-Profile Theme is for mini-profiles that are designed for member use. You can set the Who Can Edit option for this field to Staff With Power if you only want staff to be able to choose mini-profiles for users. Otherwise, if you want members to freely be able to choose their own mini-profiles you can choose Members and Staff With Power.
Staff Mini-Profile Theme is for mini-profiles designed specifically for staff use. This field is completely optional.
Set the type for both of these fields as Drop Down Selection. Click on the (View/Edit) link to add mini-profile names to each of these fields.
If you've just installed this plugin you should have three different mini-profiles already installed by default: Example 1, Example 2, and Example 3. You can add these to your dropdowns to test them out and see the plugin in action.
If you're having trouble getting this plugin to work despite following the instructions in the previous tabs you may want to check that each of your themes meets the prerequisites below in Themes > Layout Templates > Mini-Profile.
First, ensure that opening tag of your mini-profile template includes the $[miniprofile_class] variable in its class. On the default ProBoards theme it should look something like this:
<div class="$[miniprofile_class]">
Next, make sure that the default {foreach} loop for custom fields is present inside your mini-profile. It doesn't need to be visible, so you're free to add it inside a hidden element if you don't plan on displaying it or if it would mess up the appearance of your own custom template.
Beyond that you can do whatever you like to the mini-profile template for the most part and it shouldn't negatively impact the plugin.
The following is a list of available variables for use in the HTML section of the mini-profile creator and their definitions. Adding any of these to a mini-profile will generate the content described in its definition in place of the variable so long as the information that variable outputs is visible to you.
To reference your forum's custom profile fields you can use $[user.customfieldname], substituting "customfieldname" with your custom field's name. You'll need to type the name in all lowercase with no spaces and only use characters A-Z and 0-9.
For example, Mini-Profile Theme becomes $[user.miniprofiletheme]. This will output the value of the custom field. In the case of this example, it'll be the name of the mini-profile theme you've chosen in your profile.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These will only work if you followed the steps in the Installation tab of this window on each of your themes. Any themes that do not include the template code specified there will not have these variables replaced in the mini-profile.

You can utilize the $(this) variable in the Javascript component to target the mini-profile <div> element. For example, if you wanted to add a class to the mini-profile you can use:
$(this).addClass('class-name-here');
Profile variables can also be used in the Javascript component in this plugin. In Javascript the value undefined is used to signify that a value doesn't exist for the variable you've specified. With this in mind you can use profile variables in Javascript conditional statements within the plugin similar to how they're used in the actual layout templates section of the admin area.
if(variable) will only run if the variable you specify has a value.
if(!variable) will only run if the variable you specify has no value.
Example 1 (variable has value):
if(user.group){
$(this).find('.group').show();
}
If the user has their group displayed in their profile the above Javascript would make the HTML below visible if you had it hidden with CSS.
