Standing at about 5'4", she is rather short.  She has red eyes and pointed ears to compliment her rather androgynous body, though, her long purple hair helps to give it away. Her hair is long enough that if it weren't wavy, it would drag across the ground. And she often leaves her bangs to cover her left eye when not in combat.  Her dream clothing is that she wears a sleeveless, open back dress that features gold beads on the throat. The chest of the dress is black, while the rest is white. The dress is split at the outer thigh on both sides, helping to allow for a wider range of movement. She also has 2 black sleeves that go from the upper arm down to the middle finger where it is tapered with a ring. Finally, she has a headband made of 2 parallel, golden strips that go across her hairline.  

- Personality -



In the 'real world' she was a loner. She would normally only party with others for raids, and would no sooner have finished the raid and collected the loot than had left the party. However, since the apocalypse, not wanting to let her old life consume her in this new one, she has decided to be more outgoing. She will walk into the room and attempt to take control of it by seizing the opportunity. As such she will be the first to introduce herself, and will be the last to leave. However, that isn't to say that she doesn't observe her surroundings and attempt to gather as much information on the others as possible. She wants to be the best she can be in this world, since she views it as having been given a 'second chance' of sorts.

However, it is due to her lack of social ties in the real world that she tends to make first impressions of people that are hard for her to change, and can be somewhat devastating to her should they be wrong. She will quickly peg someone as honest or a thief, and will continue to act and think of them in that way until forced to be proven otherwise.

However, in this world, she is competitive in that she wants to be well known enough that everyone knows her name. As such, she feels one of the best ways to do that is to become one of the best of her class. Wanting to quickly advance up the ranks so that she can have the fame and prestige she wants.

However, one thing she has learned and isn't afraid to do, is manipulation. Having experienced a rather heavy amount, she is more than willing to utilize what she knows had worked on her, onto others.


- Biography -



Growing up she had a rather comfortable lifestyle. Having been born into an upper-middle class life, she would go on to attend the top schools in the area, as well as had good enough grades to get into an above-average university.

However, after university, she would be married off by her father in a move of political gains, attempting to help solidify himself a higher position in the company. Unfortunately, as with most arranged marriages, there was no love between the two. She still tried her best to ensure the marriage would work, doing this almost more for her father's sake than her own. Or at least, that's what she would tell herself. She would make dinner for the two of them, even after receiving a call that he would be out late at a business meeting, and he would eat later. Or not at all if he didn't come back that evening.

As their marriage had gone on, he would only become more brazen with his consorts. Going so far as to even bring them home sometimes, where she would be forced to cook for them. This level of activity though didn't go unnoticed by the neighbors, and as such, they quickly became the talk of the town. She could see the eyes watching her as she would go to the store. And she tried to ignore it. But as he would continue to yell at her for taking too long, not having their drinks automatically refilled, or whatever little thing he could yell about to demean her, it would eventually get to her.

As such, she would instead turn towards the world of video games, becoming a recluse. Not that her husband cared, and her father got the promotion, so he had already signed away any knowledge, or care, of what happened to her. A fact she was just now realizing, was she had been groomed from the start to be this man's husband. And yet, he had not been groomed to take her as his wife.

Though, he didn't care.

Having completed yet another game, having gotten sick of the late-game content, she had moved on from her last game when she heard about this new game coming out...

Ambidexterity Prime:
While dual-wielding a one-handed weapon in the offhand, the user no longer incurs a 50% accuracy penalty to their one-handed weapons. While many Duelists are known to dual-wield due to getting Ambidextry Prime, some opt for sword-and-shield or sword-and-magic.

Poker Gauge:
A Duelist can passively see enemies as only they can, and perceive a thin yellow bar under an enemy’s hp; their Chip Stack. A Chip Stack is equal to 1/5th the amount of the creature’s maximum health. All damage the Duelist deals to an enemy’s health bar is also dealt to their Chip Stack. Chip Stack does not benefit from the enemy’s Defense stats. When it is reduced to zero, the enemy Folds for 10s, granting the Duelist a strong increase critical hit chance on them. After that duration, their Chip Stack is restored to full and increases by 1/5th of the target’s maximum health.

Dealer's Stance:
A passive skill that activates when the Duelist is only equipping a single one-handed weapon and nothing in their off hand, increasing the attack damage of their one-handed weapon by an above-average amount. Dual wielding has its merits in increased damage output and versatility, and shields grant a bonus to personal survivability, while fighting with the Dealer's Stance allows one to focus on the effects of one favored weapon and usage of items or spells.

Ante Up:
The Duelist summons an additional weapon from their inventory and claps their hands together to perform this spell. The weapon will then be levitated into the air and controlled by an AI to fight alongside the user. Depending on vocal commands, the AI can be designated to either focus on all-out attacking, defensive play, or balance fighting. Ante Up has an effective controllable range of 2 meters. Shields cannot be controlled by this skill. Ranged weapons such as a bow that is controlled by this skill cannot fire their projectiles.
Toggle, 3s cast time. Below-average mana drain.
