- Appearance -
In real life, Armand’s appearance is very ordinary with his black short hair, slight peach skin, brown eyes, and has a lanky build with a height of 5’3” without any special marks on his body except a few scraps on his knee from his PE classes, something that everyone and especially to himself often noticed and acknowledged.

In Gaia Reborn, however, his avatar is drastically different from his real-life self as he made it world just to differentiate himself offline and online. Not only he has an athletic and slightly muscular build, but he is 5 inches taller compared to his original self. His neck-length hair is a dark and scruffy hairstyle with sideburns. Because he chose Nozgor as his race during creation, Spectre possessed both of the race’s red eyes and fangs.

He mostly wore a combination of black, blue, and grey clothes and while he’s not on a quest or in a battle, he wore a casual business outfit or a contemporary outfit.

- Personality -
Armand can be best described as an introvert teenager who preferred going alone to whenever he wants to go or what goals he had in mind for his future. However, he is open to socializing other people, yet he can do so if he feels he trusted them enough to share his deep thoughts and opinions. Due to his studious nature, he has a habit to observe everything he encounters and learn about new things at anything he is interested in. Although he is open to learning from personal experience through trial and error in hopes he might find a solution to any problems he can come across. But despite his observing nature, he can sometimes act by instinct when he can't find any possible solution without risking any major consequences. He also has a comical side of him as he tends to blush whenever he realized his small mistakes or being too suspicious at another person.

One important aspect of Armand is his secretive nature. As he isolated himself from strangers, he often keeps his conversations short, thinking that talking to them is very unnecessary. And due to his trust issues, he mostly grow suspicious on them based on their appearance (which is very difficult due to him being trapped in a video game where people are trapped in their customized avatars) and behavior and he treats his temporary party members during a quest or a raid as nothing more than associates than friends or partners.

But underneath his cold and calculating exterior lies a kind heart that he still kept after being trapped in Gaia Reborn. Whether if it's an Adventurer or a Lander in an inescapable situation, he often reluctantly (or willingly for most people he felt he could trust) jumps in and helps out as much as he can, knowing that leaving them to their fates makes him no better than the player killers.

He also has a soft spot with children since it reminds him of some elementary school students he befriended back in the real world. This also applies to Adventurers who are younger than him in real life after he learns of their real age. He also dislikes PKing, which he often sees them nothing more than heartless murderers and he will do anything to bring them to justice despite he is now living in a world where death isn't permanent for him and the other Adventurers.

- Biography -
Born in New York with a mixed French-American family, Armand's childhood was surprisingly normal and peaceful. While he didn't have any siblings, he often had time with his cousins growing up as well with his parents who despite their busy jobs, they often had time with him tutoring during his elementary and middle school days and used their free time to spend time with him as much as they can. He also has no problems with his school life, having straight As and used most of his spare time to study for future exams, which caused him to be alone with only a few friends and relatives who were studying in the same school as him. But while his parents were very influential due to his father was a history professor and his mother was a lawyer, he has no interest in taking up either of their jobs once he graduates and preferred to find his own goal in life so he could find his own independence as an adult.

However, it wasn't until high school where his views on people were changed. During his first few weeks as a freshman, he was greeted by some popular kids in his class who befriended the introverted boy. At first, he thought of them as his first true friends outside of his family, which he felt welcomed by their presence due to their friendly and sociable personalities. However, his friendship with them lasted long until he entered as a sophomore when he encountered one of them who bullied a weak freshman. While he managed to defend him, it's after that encounter when his friends invited him for a night out where they started to humiliate him by surprise and recorded all of it in the video, revealing how they hated his "goody-two-shoes" and studious reputation in school. From that point onward, most of the students in his school began to harass and bully him every day.

Because of these events, he slowly realized how stupid he was to trust those people in the first place. Yet despite his growing rage built inside him, he continued to endure the bullying and harassment, not wanting it to impede his studies. It wasn't until during the start of his junior year the popular kids tried to bully him again when they began to befriend his older cousin. In a bid attempt to protect him from suffering the same fate as him, he released all of his pent-up anger and punched one of his former friends' faces before calling out their heinous actions towards him and the other students they tormented for the past few years. While this confrontation caused all of his bullying to stop in exchange for a small warning for assaulting another student, that day completely changed him.

Despite his troubles in high school, Armand managed to graduate from high school and went off to college, yet he returned to become a reclusive student, not wanting to do anything with others except with his family friends and relatives. However, as he continued with his studies, he slowly realized from his parents that he needed something to take a break from it to avoid burnout. At the same time, one of his cousins told him about Gaia Reborn, an MMORPG that was about to release it's the latest expansion. While he wasn't a gamer, Armand decided to try it out during the expansion's launch, thinking it's another way to relax and take a break from college.

But his plans changed once he started the game...

• He took piano lessons when he was 10, but stopped at the age of 13 as he lost interest in it.

• He also chose both the Pathfinder and Scribe talents because he wanted to avoid getting lost and hopefully create some useful scrolls and grimoires in his playthrough.

Magiphysicy
The Spellblade weaves the martial arts of the weapon with the mystical arts of spells by balancing both. After every Spellblade-Unique magical or physical attack, the Spellblade is granted a Magical or Physical Charge respectively. This stacks up to 2 through ordinary skills. Using a Physical attack with Magical Charges consumes them all, and gives them a very minor damage boost per stack, and using a Magical attack with Physical Charges does likewise. Charges aren’t consumed when using Spellblade skills that don’t specify Magical or Physical.
Passive skill.

Magiphysic Convertor
The Spellblade instantly converts all their Magical Charges into 1 Physical charge, or vice-versa.
Instant, 15s cooldown. No mana cost.

Arcane Alphabet:
The user’s fingertips will leave arcane ink on any surface they brush over. The color of this ink is cyan by default, but it can be customized with a RGB slider. Additionally, the user may stamp down pre-written messages by selecting one out of ten customizable messages in their interface and pushing their palm down like a stamp. The user chooses how much mana they pay for each stroke with higher costs allowing for the arcane ink to last up to a week.
Toggle, no cooldown. Variable mana cost.

Cat’s Feet
After learning this skill, upon taking fall damage, it will be reduced by 30%, but any fall damage that would kill the player before this reduction is applied will still kill them.
Passive skill.

Heightened Senses
An alarm-type field skill that has seen more use since the Apocalypse, as travel is more dangerous than it used to be. After the cast, the user is granted the Alarmed buff for 8 hours. If an enemy of the Territorial, Aggressive or Predatory Type comes within 10m of the user, the Alarmed buff wears off and the user receives a loud notification sound and flash on the interface. Ever since the Apocalypse, this buff persists even through sleep and wakes the user up. Cooldown starts after Alarmed has worn off.
3s cast time, 1 hour cooldown. Low mana cost.

Windrose:
Displays a simple 16-point compass rose hovering in front of the user. With skillful navigation, this allows parties to not get lost in winding dungeons or in the more densely forested areas. More importantly, this compass rose is unaffected by magic puzzles or disorienting traps.
Toggle. No cooldown. Very minor mana drain

Minor Recovery:
A simple healing spell that is rather mana-inefficient, but will have to do if the Adventurer is without a healer. The Adventurer points their weapon towards an ally within 10 meters and casts as a golden light briefly envelops them, recovering a low amount of health.
2s cast time, 20s cooldown. Average mana cost.

Galeforce Igniter:
Magical. The Spellblade coats their weapon in a bright coating of yellow lightning before performing a slashing attack that sends an Air-charged magical blade up to 4 meters away. Both the blade and the projectile deal average magical Air damage; however, the enemy cannot be hit by both the blade and the projectile. The projectile passes through enemies; hitting at least one enemy grants the Spellblade a low Attack Up for 5s.
1.5s animation time, 12s cooldown. Below-average mana cost.

Vampire Pipet:
Physical. Stabbing forward, the Spellblade lodges their weapon inside an enemy of choice for average damage. A red glow then leaves the enemy through the Spellblade’s weapon, and their Health and Mana are healed for 50% of the damage they dealt.
1.5s animation time, 12s cooldown. Below-average mana cost.

Cocytus Stabilizer
Magical. The Spellblade’s weapon glows blue as they push it to the ground. The Spellblade can target an enemy within 7 meters to make an icy pillar bursts out of the ground that skewers them for average magical Ice damage. Upon successfully hitting an enemy, the Spellblade receives a low Defense Up for 5s.
1.5s animation time, 12s cooldown. Below-average mana cost.

Terral Tuner
Magical. The Spellblade turns their weapon sideways as it’s coated in verdant green energy. They rush 3m forward, slicing enemies with their sidewards extended blade as they pass by them. This deals average magical Nature damage. Hitting at least one enemy grants the Spellblade a low Critical Hit Up for 5s.
2s animation time, 12s cooldown. Below-average mana cost.

Trekking
A skill useful for people without a mount or for long dungeons. Activating this skill will halve fatigue experienced from walking, allowing the user to recuperate in short walks or more comfortably jog or march long distances.

The Old Hunger
While it is unknown why the Nozgor are weak to sunlight and also have a weaker metabolism, most Nozgor will sustain themselves through drinking the blood of other Panpaidi. Drinking blood invigorates Nozgor, granting them a minor increase in Health regeneration and halving the intensity of the exhaustion from being in the sun. This lasts for 20m per dose they drink. The target they drink blood from suffers a minor reduction in health regeneration, which lasts 10m per drink. The maximum durations of these effects cap at three drinks. Nozgor can only obtain these effects from warm blood drank from a live target. While benefiting from a drink when the sun is no longer out, the Nozgor instead feels extra invigorated, increasing their capabilities and stamina.

Nocturnal Hunter:
While their whole bodies may be sensitive to sunlight, at night, a Nozgor’s potential shines. They can see at night with incredible acuity. Their bodies also move more quietly when not under the effects of the exhaustion from the sun.

Nozgorim Photosensitivity:
The Nozgor are a people of the night, as their sensitive skin is weak to sunlight. While a Nozgor will not die in direct sunlight, they will begin to feel weak under sunlight. Nozgor will not regenerate health while in direct sunlight, and their bodies will feel exhausted and weak, reducing combat ability, as well as their other capabilities.

Scribe Aptitude:
Scribes are known for their ability to take comprehensive notes quickly and examine various writings carefully. Due to their talents, Scribes obtain the Adventurer skill Arcane Alphabet from the start. Their knowledge also grants additional proficiency in the use of Grimoires in combat, receiving a +1 to Magic Proficiency when they wield a Grimoire as weapon.

Wayfarer’s Trekking
A Wayfarer knows where to find paths and how to walk them. Innately, they can both find old and disused paths, as well as more easily remember paths they took and landmarks they saw. Passively, they are granted a very-minor Movement Up while not in combat. While outside of cities or off of roads, this is increased to a minor Movement Up. The Wayfarer’s life of travel also grants an aptitude for the Trekking skill, lowering its cost from 5SP to 2SP.
