- Player -Name: Elena “Ellie” Williams
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Sexuality: Heterosexual
- Character -Name: Atlas
Gender: Female
Apparent age: 20
Face Claim: Olga Zpermonovitch, world class weightlifter (yes that's from Sabrina the Teenage Witch)
Played By: Mr Roboto (Kny)
Faction: Adventurer
- Appearance -Atlas looks exactly the way most people would expect a paladin to look like: a heavily-armored knight with a shield and a mace which they use to protect the weak and punish the wicked.
She towers over most people with her amazonian height of 2,15 meters and bulky muscles that make her look like Sabrina the Teenage Witch on the episode where she uses magic to become a bodybuilder.
Her long black hair is tied in a ponytail that reaches down halfway down her back and contrasts strongly with her pale skin.
Overall, Atlas is a complete opposite of the pink axolotl that is often seen with her, which makes both of them stand out even more whenever they’re together.
- Personality -Atlas’ personality is quite hard to describe, mainly because there’s two of them: Ellie and Atlas. However, since the apocalypse the roles each of them played were swapped. Instead of Atlas being the second one in Ellie’s head, Atlas is the main personality that is the most often active while Ellie is the internal voice that sometimes becomes more than internal.
Ellie is a gentle, caring girl who will do anything to protect her friends. If you had to fit her into a stereotypical character archetype, she’d be the shy nerd at the back of the class who’s mostly silent but is a great friend to hang around with, especially when you’re feeling down.
Atlas, on the other hand, is Ellie’s complete opposite. She’s outgoing, funny, and likes playing pranks on people. She will constantly tease her friends about anything she can, but she’s not actually mean. In fact, she’s very careful not to go too far and feels bad about herself for hours when she seriously upsets someone. Thankfully Ellie, being the more empathetic of the two, generally steps in before that happens.
Despite the two personalities having set roles as “the main one” and “the secondary one”, they both think of each other as siamese twins of sorts and both can control the body at will as long as the other doesn’t actively try to stop them.
- Biography -Ellie never stood out much in the real world. Her looks were just average in every aspect, and her shy personality made it hard to get friends at school. This loneliness drove her to making an imaginary friend, Atlas, who ended up becoming a tulpa: an alternate personality with its own thoughts and identity. Rather quickly, Atlas began to want to express herself to others, so Ellie and her agreed on letting Atlas be the one that controls most of the pair’s online interaction while Ellie would be the one in charge in real life. They had both fallen in love with Gaia Reborn, so when they heard about the new server being launched, they immediately got a group of friends from the old server to play with in the new server. Little did they know they’d be taken into the game with no hope of returning.
With Atlas being in charge of the body, Ellie quickly started to get bored, so they agreed on letting Ellie take control once in a while so she could do research for her Mechanic talent. Ellie was always passionate about engineering, and despite being completely lost in an alternate world, she can’t help but being excited at the idea of researching and inventing things in a universe that clearly doesn’t follow the same laws of physics as her own.

- Skills -- Class -- Beginner -Auto-Attack
A skill that controls the user's body and allows them to automatically target a monster and attempt to basic attack. A skill that controls the user's body and allows them to automatically target a monster and attempt to basic attack. Auto-attack will do a constant chain of attacks so that the total DPS is roughly the same as dealing
minor damage once a second. For example, a heavy weapon will do slower but stronger attacks, while a player wielding two daggers will do faster, less damaging attacks.
Any skills or movements that the user may manually perform will take priority over this skill, but the system will generally try to aim for an accurate hit.
It was a staple among players in the original Gaia Reborn game, but since the Apocalypse, its use has taken a drastic drop. Manual basic attacks allow for much more fluid and precise control of attacks, and as such, the skill has barely been used by Adventurers since then. It does, however, allow for people who are not proficient with their weapon of choice to be able to reliably hit their target.
Passively, the player can also delay their next attack to increase the basic attack’s power by performing what’s known as an “empowered attack”. Each second used to charge an attack increases the damage dealt by 20%, up to a maximum of 100% at 5 seconds.

Roads to RomaliaA skill that can be found prominently on the player’s interface. Roads to Romalia allows a player to teleport back to Romalia from any city or town with a cathedral. Activating it causes the user to channel for five seconds, restricting them from doing anything until this cast time is done. If they choose to make any other action or are hit by an attack, Roads to Romalia is interrupted and put on a 1 minute cooldown. Because teleporting in this way to one’s home city essentially breaks them down into raw energy, it is extremely taxing to players after the Apocalypse, and repeated use in a short span can inflict mental and physical strains.
5s cast time, No cooldown. No cost.Interface ControlEven after the Apocalypse, players have kept the ability to use their interfaces. They will hover slightly in front of them, visible only to themselves and slightly transparent, and can be interacted with by pressing on them with one’s fingertips or through thoughts. This allows players to access their friend list, guild settings, crafting list and many other menus. Friend invites can only be sent in a face-to-face meeting, and the same goes for party invites. However, a friend can be added to a party regardless of where they are.
A player can talk to friends or party members through telepathy, by pressing one finger to their ear after dialing them. This causes words said to be spoken into their mind rather than out loud.
Devoted MartyrThrough selfless sacrifice to protect their allies, the Paladin becomes empowered and able to endure damage for longer.
For every 15% of their maximum health the Paladin has lost in battle, they gain a stack of
Valor. Each stack of
Valor gives the Paladin a
minor Aggro Up and a
low Healing Received Up. The Paladin cannot have more than 5 stacks and all stacks remain until the end of the fight, even if the lost health is recovered.
Passive skill.- Rank I -Dominating PresenceThe mere presence of the Paladin and their sheer zealous conviction to guard their allies and slay their enemies is inspiring enough that it demands attention. Allies within 10 meters of the Paladin receive an
average Aggro Down, divided equally among all allies within range. This means that two allies would get a
low Aggro down, or three a
minor, etc.
Passive skill.Holy WeaponThe Paladin imbues their weapon in divine energy for 5s, granting them
Enholied. This causes basic attacks to deal physical Divine damage. Upon a successful basic attack, the Party Member within 15m with the lowest health is healed for a
low amount. This includes the Paladin themselves.
Instant, 15s cooldown. Average mana cost.SurmountShield skill. The Paladin performs a powerful downwards smash with their shield on an enemy with their weight behind it, strong enough to send them reeling. It deals
low damage, while also inflicting both Stagger and Daze.
1.5s animation time, 20s cooldown. Average mana cost.- Rank II -Protector’s ChargeShield skill. When a teammate within 15 meters of the Paladin is attacked, the Paladin can use a stack of
Valor to activate this skill instantly, charging at the enemy with a speed of 5 meters per second, and shield-bashing them for
average damage upon arrival. This Topples the enemy and gives them the
Taunted status for 15s. While
Taunted, the enemy’s single-target attacks can only target the Paladin, regardless of Aggro, and AoE attacks must be centered around the Paladin.
1-3s animation time, 30s cooldown. Average mana cost, 1 stack of Valor.- Rank III -- Racial & Talents -Human PotentialThough many might consider the lack of specialization in the stats of a human a curse, attributing them to a jack of all trade and master of none, this ordinariness is the strength of the humans, granting them the power to forge their own path, specializing in what they choose, unhindered by their race.
Human characters start with 12 SP. Every 40 EXP, they receive an additional 1SP and 2AP.MechanicLevel 1DisassemblyMechanics have a certain skill with taking apart machines, so monsters that are mechanical in nature had better watch out. Mechanics deal a
low amount of extra damage to Machine and Golem-type monsters.
Passive skill.PuppeteerLevel 1Puppet ControlThe Puppeteer is able to possess a puppet and control it as if it was their own body. However, they cannot move their real body or use skills while controlling a puppet. Basic attacks from a possessed puppet have the same accuracy and damage as a normal basic attack. Only one puppet may be possessed at a time. The Puppeteer starts with a humanoid wooden puppet the size of a small child, but certain crafting talents can create stronger and/or bigger puppets.
5s cast time, 5 min cooldown. Low mana cost.
Level 11Autonomous PuppetThe Puppeteer is able to make their puppet act autonomously. While a puppet is moving on its own, it can only perform very simple tasks and cannot attack. Only one puppet may be controlled this way at any given time and possessing a puppet while this skill is active will automatically cancel this skill’s effects.
